Don't Miss Julius Caesar playing through August 16

The final performances of The 2009 Charlotte Shakespeare Festival take place this week. Join us uptown for this 400-year old political thriller.

Come see why audiences and critics are raving about our modern version of Julius Caesar.

“Collaborative's Caesar takes us to the vibrant, intoxicating enigma at the heart of all high-stakes politics.” – Creative Loafing

“Collaborative Arts reimagines the play... and has clever uses for the McGlohon Theatre.” – Charlotte Observer

“[Andrea] King is more than twice as brilliant as Cassius, sometimes imparting a Clintonesque patina to the schemer.” – Creative Loafing

“Regal, overconfident and grinning, Jonavan Adams' take on Caesar is delightful” – Creative Loafing

“This is an abbreviated version of the play. But that does not make it Shakespeare "lite." There are many details that increase both clarity and meaning in this production.” – Arts a la Mode

“Come early to get a good seat for this free Shakespeare play. See how you're persuaded to rethink the idols and iconoclasts of the past, or relate ancient leaders and their passions to current screen spectacles and talk-radio voices.” – Arts a la Mode
