A Dark Comedy About The Dark Ages

Collaborative Arts Theatre, the award-winning company that brings you The Charlotte Shakespeare Festival each summer, presents Incorruptible, a dark comedy about the dark ages.

With their saint suffering an identity crisis, the monks of Priseaux, France are in danger of losing much more than their faith. With the floods, the fires and the rising murder rate, 1250 AD is shaping up to be the darkest time of the dark ages.  When the world’s first mail-order business fails to keep the wolves from the door, it will take the combined efforts of a one-eyed con man, an mercenary monk, a singing prostitute, a ruthless peasant, the nun from hell and the pope himself to set things right.

Join us for this hilarious farce directed by Peter Smeal and starring Joe Copley, Matthew Corbett, Julie Gawle, Joanna Gerdy, Glynnis O’Donoghue, Chaz Pofahl, Tom Scott and Lee Thomas.
